Before MEE, game publishers went to other trade shows like Consumer ElectronicsShow and the European Computer Trade Show to display new or upcoming products as to pre-sell shipments to retailers for the rest of the year including the late-year holiday season as well as to view for press coverage of upcoming games. As the game industry grew rapidly during the early 1990s, industry professionals felt that it had outgrown the older trade shows. Monkey Electronic Expo 2021 Logo
Monkey Electronic Expo logo was designed by George Foon to
illustrate the favorite animal of the father of the electronic Lee De Forest. He often made monkeys doodles on his electronic designs.
This is a way to commemorate his work and creativity he gave in life.
